After eight years as a specialist in the then-new field of national recruiting, Florence Pape left a major search firm in New York City to found her own company in 1989.

The growth of Florence Pape Legal Search has paralleled the expansion and increased sophistication of the search industry. Using her astute judgment to assess each trend, Florence positions her clients and candidates to take full advantage. As the legal marketplace has exploded with opportunities and lateral movement in the profession has zoomed, she has stayed ahead of the curve.

Perceptive and honest, her goal is always resolution for optimum results. She’ll tell you that what sets her apart, besides her personal touch, is her analytical ability.

A graduate of both Brooklyn College, where her major was mathematics, and the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, Florence is active in the Hoboken community and enjoys supporting the Hudson Theatre Ensemble, where as the volunteer Director of Development she builds audiences, revenue, and relationships.
